A defined bundle of publisher and research services, performed for the partner regardless of consumer outcomes.
Ongoing updates to your listing, structures offered, hours, contact paths, and Shariah oversight.
Independent verification of state coverage, fees, and compliance posture against primary sources.
A clearly labeled Featured badge and prominent rendering inside disclosed advertising modules.
Ongoing editorial coverage of the category you operate in, written to HalalWallet's methodology.
Aggregate, non-identifying outbound click and category traffic analytics. No PII handoff.
Standardized logo placement, alt text, and accessible labeling across our surfaces.
How partnerships are priced (services, not referrals)
Partnership fees are negotiated up front and are intended to reflect fair market value for the publisher and research services described above—services we perform regardless of whether any individual consumer ultimately transacts with the partner. This is the structure permitted at 12 CFR § 1024.14(g)(1)(iv) (RESPA Regulation X, Section 8(c)(2): payments for services actually furnished). It is not a referral fee, and it is not contingent on us steering consumers to any provider.
Where agreements include attribution components tied to outbound clicks or funded transactions, those components are negotiated to reflect the value of the publisher services already rendered—and they do not influence ranking, ordering, or matches on home-financing surfaces.
What partnership does not buy
- Ranking position on home-financing surfaces. Paid Featured status does not move order on the home-financing hub, state pages, or top-provider modules. Those surfaces are ordered by published methodology.
- Influence over editorial content. Partners do not review, approve, or edit articles, ratings, reviews, methodology, or Halal Finance Scores before publication. See our Editorial Policy.
- Removal of truthful negative information. We do not remove accurate negative facts from a partner profile in exchange for fees.
- Personal information about consumers. HalalWallet does not collect or share user names, emails, phone numbers, SSNs, income, credit scores, or other personal data with partners. We are not a lead generator.
- Endorsement or settlement-service status. HalalWallet is not a lender, broker, originator, processor, underwriter, appraiser, title company, or settlement agent for any partner.
